Mr. Li serves as Director of Guantao’s Intellectual Property Practice Committee. He is both a licensed lawyer and a patent attorney, and has been recognized as a National Leading Young Lawyer by the All China Lawyers Association. He currently serves as a part-time LL.M. supervisor at Peking University, China University of Political Science and Law, and Renmin University of China. He is also a legal advisory expert for Legal Daily, a member of the National Anti-Counterfeiting Expert Pool, and a former expert of the Supreme People’s Court Intellectual Property Case Guidance (Beijing) Base. Mr. Li studied at China University of Petroleum, Peking University Law School, and Chicago-Kent College of Law (United States), and previously worked at the China National Intellectual Property Administration. He has served as legal counsel to the 19th Asian Games and the World Internet Conference. In 2023, he was recognized as an Outstanding CPC Lawyer in Beijing. He currently serves as Vice Director of the Patent Law Committee of the 12th Beijing Lawyers Association and Director of the Intellectual Property Research Committee of the 4th Beijing Xicheng District Lawyers Association. Widely regarded as an intellectual property problem-solving expert, Mr. Li has extensive experience in disputes relating to patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition, and technology contracts. In 2024, he was named one of ALB’s “Top 15 Intellectual Property Litigators in China.” He has also received multiple honors, including recognition as an Outstanding Public Service Lawyer in Beijing’s Xicheng District (2019–2022), Outstanding CPC Lawyer at both district and municipal levels (2021–2023), and one of China’s “Top 10 Patent Lawyers” and later “Top 10 IP Litigation Lawyers” by the Strong Nation Intellectual Property Forum. In 2017, he provided expert advisory opinions to the General Office of the State Council on combating infringement and counterfeiting. He has been recommended by major international legal directories including Chambers, ALB, China Business Law Journal, The Legal 500, and Managing IP.

Mr. Lyu serves as a part-time legal advisor to the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization. He is a Standing Committee Member of the 14th and 15th Hongkou District Committees of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). He is also a visiting professor for the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Tongji University School of Economics and Management, a postgraduate supervisor at East China University of Political Science and Law, and an arbitrator at the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. Mr. Lyu focuses primarily on dispute resolution in major commercial and administrative matters. With more than 20 years of practice experience, he has consistently provided high-quality and efficient legal services to clients. He has been recognized as a Third Oriental Great Lawyer and ranked as a “Senior Statesperson” in Dispute Resolution: Litigation in the Chambers Greater China Region Guide 2025 (ranked for four consecutive years). He has also been named among ALB’s “Top 15 Litigators in China.” Mr. Lyu has handled more than 1,000 cases.
